Women of the Word Study Group

Women of the Word
Jan 11 - Feb 15, 6:30pm - 8:00pm

A snippet from "Women of the Word": We all know it’s important to study God’s Word. But sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. What’s more, a lack of time, emotionally driven approaches, and past frustrations can erode our resolve to keep growing in our knowledge of Scripture. How can we, as Christian women, keep our focus and sustain our passion when reading the Bible? Offering a clear and concise plan to help women go deeper in their study of Scripture, this book will equip you to engage God’s Word in a way that trains your mind and transforms your heart.

Women’s Ministry is prayerful that this will be a great springboard for our dive directly into the Bible. Ladies joining this study will need to purchase the book Women of the Word by Jen Wilkin. You can find the book on Amazon, at your local branch library (Hoopla audio version), and currently at the Short Pump Barnes & Noble. Our first meeting on 1/11 will be an introductory “kick-off” meeting, so it's ok if you don’t have your book at that time. Please contact Jermelle Dandridge or Jen Liptak if you are having difficulty ordering your book.
